Book review of A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas
“To the stars who listen- and the dreams that are answered.”
This quote means the world to me. I would like to toast too, as the mere fact that this book was written is like a dream being answered by the stars who listen; a dream which I was unaware of until I read A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Mass.
The second installment of A Court of Thorns and Roses series, ACOMAF follows Feyre going back to the Spring Court after Amarantha’s death; the blood of innocents soaking her hands. WHY I LOVE V E SCHWAB: Book review of A Darker Shade of Magic by V E Shwab
This book was everything. After not loving but just liking the first book, I was really skeptical about where it would go. But looks like, ACOMAF has become my favourite for life. Sarah J Mass’s writing is so overwhelming, the emotions so strong and felt. There was love, hatred, passion, friendship, sorrow, pain and so, so many grinning-like-mad moments.
The characters. I have not met a bunch of characters this diverse and fun to read about. Brooding Azriel, the-almost-wicked Cassian, absolutely terrifying Amren, sexy and strong Mor. And Rhysand gulps audibly. Believe me when I say this; even if you don’t seem to like anything about the book (which is not possible), read it just for the characters. You’ll make friends for life.
A Court of Mist and Fury is a book that will shatter you, make you feel
innumerable things and will climb the list of your favourite books and sit on the top like a queen. It is a must read.
