Leading The Way | Prashant Handoo | Book Review

My love for reading about the lives of people from different spheres is fueled constantly by amazing books like Leading the Way by Prashant Handoo, a memoir of the author.⁣

The book starts with the author describing the mass exodus in Kashmir in the year 1990 when he was just a boy. In 1993, he and his family start a new life in Bangalore. The challenges that Prashant faces are neither small nor less. Speaking problem, no friends, an unhealthy diet, all the difficulties pile upon him. But eventually, understanding what is wrong and what has to be done, the author works like a devil to improve. The hurdles; social and personal, are crossed and Prashant comes out winning.⁣

The book is highly inspiring; you don’t want to miss even a single page. The book shouts out loud to ‘Never Give Up’; that life is all about struggle and it’s your hard work that is going to overcome them.⁣

I was not disappointed in the least with any aspect of the book. It is self-help based on a real story, and everyone; be it a student or a corporate worker should read it. I would emphasize that it is a must-read for teens and the youth generation, as you may find solutions to your problems right here in the book!⁣
