Goodreads Choice Awards – As the year is drawing to a close, we the readers are as usual all onto our reading TBR’s, setting reading goals as well as acknowledging the best reads of the year. And at the end we normally start awaiting the results of the Goodreads Choice Awards, a platform which is usually the haven for readers where all of them get together, sharing our ideas, thoughts and musings on our current reads and book releases along with reviewing them.
Yes, Goodreads is a platform for the readers, of the readers and the best part is, it is also by the readers-no strings attached. So, when at the end of the year the books we have read and reviewed here (the readaholics that we are, you know, absolute bibliophiles huh!) get acknowledged and chosen for the GoodReads Choice Awards of the Year 2022, we cannot keep calm.
Yes, our choices, the titles we read and revelled in have been the chosen ones and we are simply over the moon! So, without wasting any more of your time and excitement here is a complete list of the Goodreads Choice Award winners in 2022.
By the way, before I proceed, let me confess that I usually do not have any New Year resolutions except the one I have secretly where I set goals on Goodreads, bookmarking and reading some of the best titles to hit the shelves that year (that is another story that I generally cannot finish reading the books that form a part of my Goodreads reading goal!). And boy, am I proud to tell you guys that most of my reads this year have won in their respective genre categories.
So, coming back, here is the list of the winners of the Goodreads Choice Awards 2022:

So, congratulations to all the winners. And to those who did not make it, never mind remembering writers-when you put a book out there for readers you give them a piece of life and world to explore, so celebrate that achievement. And if not this time, next time you are sure to hit your mark. Anyways, there are millions of readers, all swarming across the planet, ain’t it and we need countless books to satiate them, don’t we?
